National Tropical Botanical Garden
4422 Lawai Road, Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii

National Tropical Botanical Garden not only has a wide array of tropical plants native to a variety of ecosystems and environmental conditions, but first and foremost, it is a center dedicated to the conservation and scientific study of endangered tropical plants. There are three NTBG on the Island of Kauai—the McBryde and Allerton Gardens on the south shore and the Limahuli Garden on the north shore. All offer self-guided tours, but we highly recommend you take guided tour for a better appreciation for the delicate plant life housed there, as well as for the admirable work being done by the tireless NTBG conservationists.
