Poipu Beach Park
2100 Hoone Road, Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii

Once given the title of “America’s Best Beach” by the Travel Channel, Poipu Beach Park lives up to all expectations for its family-friendliness, natural beauty, and convenience. Poipu Beach Park is made up of several adjacent crescents of yellow sand, which together provide the perfect waters for swimming, snorkeling, wading, boogie boarding, and surfing—although experienced wave riders looking for hardcore surf may want to go elsewhere. It’s also a terrific spot for wildlife spotting, as this is also a shoreline favored by humpback whales, green turtles as well as very rare and endangered monk seals. Lifeguards are on duty seven days a week, plus you’ll have all the facilities and eateries you need for a perfect family day outing.
