Kaanapali Beach
Kaanapali Parkway, Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii

If you love being where all the action is, Kaanapali Beach is the place to go. Kaanapali is Hawaii’s premiere resort with five hotels and six condominiums along the shore, a bustling shopping center with restaurants and shops galore, world-class golf courses, a renowned whaling museum, free live entertainment, and much more. Another huge attraction is the sunset cliff diving ceremony off Black Rock—a daily tribute to King Kahekili the Great of Maui (c. 1737-1794) who himself used to perform the feat. Needless to say, Kaanapali isn’t the place to go if you’re longing to escape the crowds, but if you’re in the mood to “see and be seen” at one of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the world, there’s no better place.
