Kula Botanical Garden

Owned and operated by the McCord family since 1968, Kula Botanical Garden encompasses 8 beautifully landscaped acres along the slopes of Haleakala and features hundreds of breathtaking and unusual plants from all over the world, waterfalls, a lovely covered bridge, a carved tiki collection, beautiful rock formations, and much more. Animals lovers wlll also enjoy the garden’s aviary, chameleon exhibit, native Nene geese, and koi pond. Self-guided tours are most common, but guided tours can be booked in advance. Please note that the pathways are paved, but the ground isn’t level, so be prepared to walk along an inclined path.
